Carmel Country Estate is nestled in the heart of Ohauiti, Tauranga. The magnificent gardens throughout the Village, and bordering lush greenbelt, create a serene and tranquil atmosphere. But, despite the peaceful setting we’re only a few minutes away from the local shopping centres, and only a ten-minute drive from the amenities of downtown Tauranga.
The 142 homes at Carmel Country Estate are spread across 16 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Our spacious villas are designed to make the most of the Bay of Plenty sunshine, with north-facing living areas, patios and plenty of outdoor space. Many of our villas are customisable, and all come with their own garage and parking.
Carmel Country Estate also has a number of attractive one and two-bedroom apartments, situated over our community centre. These units come with high-quality kitchens, fully equipped laundries and exterior storage cupboards, as well as secure, ground level parking.
At the heart of Village life is our well-appointed community centre where a wide range of activities take place, from craft sessions and indoor bowls to bingo afternoons and quiz nights. You can also enjoy game of croquet, have a coffee with friends, or just relax with a book in our sunny conservatory. Other facilities at the centre include a well-stocked library, nurse’s clinic room, bowling green, hair salon, beauty salon, gym, arts and crafts room, and workshop.
