3 / 5 ★I feel Summerset runs on minimum staffing levels, and so the advertised promises are different from reality. Most things are resident initiated re-activities.

3 / 5 ★My overall comment would be that Summerset tries to build a resort type but the basics are not well designed around the needs of the older person. Prime example- Pool has deep steps into the pool. Difficulty is getting in and out for those with mobility issues- post op & there is no ramp to make it easier to enter the pool. This limits the use of the pool of approx. 50% of the residents.

2 / 5 ★Will not make any difference. After building 28 sites before Summerset Rototuna the Summerset head office still keep making the same mistakes. We have to be 70+ to live here but they dont think about the needs of older people with sore knees hips etc.
Main building and paths not fit for purpose
