Wonderful place, fantastic atmosphere
5 / 5 ★I AM VERY HAPPY TO LIVE, PLAY AND MIX WITH A WONDERFUL MANAGEMENT TEAM AT LOCHLEA LIFESTYLE RESORT. ASHBURTON A WONDERFUL PLACE; FANSTATIC ATMOSPHERE
Great Bunch of People to Retire With
5 / 5 ★All the residents living here are kind and caring for all the residents, and just a great bunch of people to retire with.
Unexpected Garden Costs
4 / 5 ★I was not told before I moved into my new villa that I had to buy the flowers, plants & shrubs for the garden around the villa and look after it. To date the cost of plants, fertilizers & sprays has cost close to $3,000. Is this fair!!
5 star
4 / 5 ★good communication now.
Good feedback on lifestyle
3 / 5 ★It is good - all one could want for. Focus on lifestyle should age with the medium age of residents.
Nothing changes
3 / 5 ★None
safety
2 / 5 ★Van on outings is often driven by Residents, I consider this to be the job of staff.
Security
2 / 5 ★Stop picking on me ie feeding the birds in winter time. Just a small pleasure I get watching them.
Great amenities bad management
1 / 5 ★Management should learn to engage with the residents and be more caring about the health and well-being of the residents ( eg they never wore masks at all during our lockdowns and never enquired abut anyones health if they had covid) That’s just one example of the poor attitude to residents
One Star
1 / 5 ★We need an activities coordinator, a much more friendly atmosphere, variety of activities. Our part time nurse has left, seems hard to keep staff as they also [do not appear to be] happy. (eds)
