5 / 5 ★Keep listening and utilize in partnership with each other the sister facilities of Waimea Plains, a unique situation both Arvida villages in the same street.
Excellent Village experience
5 / 5 ★The village environment, garden, villa layout & gardens are a key attraction. Access to the lounge & hot drinks always available is an enjoyable service.
People are friendly
5 / 5 ★I have been here since 8 April and I am profoundly deaf, so I don't go to functions much as I can't hear, but people understand and are friendly. I like my own company but like to socialise when I need too.

5 / 5 ★The villa we occupy was very well prepared, is warm and well draped. Staff have been very helpful and are very friendly. Social life is great. Gardens are tidy and attractive, a joy to wander around.

4 / 5 ★Brownfields Developments always require enhancement and replacement. Good leadership will ensure this happens, marginal leadership and average board, will not. Jury out.
Staffing is Exceptional
4 / 5 ★The original village beautifully set out but with further developments on bought land this deteriorated - too close together with no privacy due to closeness of village. Fences have gone up - clothes line put up, too much goes up on the roofs and spoils the look of the village. Find that the process of fixing up problems eg. water leaks and I have had five in 15 years, very slow to complete when found. Staffing is exceptional here - starting at the top - makes for a happy village.

4 / 5 ★Promises. Simply get the promised Village Centre and Care facility refurbishment to occur. and the location will sell itself. Promises and apologies for years re new builds and refurbishment do not cut it.
