And watch the public media - to keep abreast of possible changes, for the better, in the Retirement Village Industry. The Government have promised a Review of the Retirement Villages Act 2003....we await the outcome.<br />
Remember that this is a Business - NOT a Social Service!

2 / 5 ★Management needs to really value the staff more highly and forget about all the money spent on glamorising the place for "new clients" . There are issues with higher need people being placed anywhere in the rest home. People disorientated and in distress can call out through the night and really distress others. Night "care " and staffing is often an issue. The kindest staff are often the cleaners and they are treated [poorly]. Some nights there is not any nurse on which is nof course illegal
