5 / 5 ★I have lived at Arvida for 12 years and I really think it's great!! Residents and staff very approachable at all times including ground staff.
Love this village, great team
5 / 5 ★I just love this village. my villa is ideal for me + peaceful surroundings, an amazing view. i can be involved in many activities as well as being monthly newsletter editor, librarian + barmaid. staff are a great team who care about us. life here is still exciting after 19 years. :)

4 / 5 ★MY VALUATION WAS 1% BUT HAS FALLEN FOLLOWING TAKE OVER BY AN AMERICAN INVESTMENT FUND. THE FOCUS HAS SHIFTED FROM SERVICE TO RETURN ON INVESTMENT

4 / 5 ★A modern fairly small estate not fully occupied yet. Minor issues with new build problems, gradually getting solved. Retirement villages being built should be installing solar panels as standard, also fitting wool carpets.

4 / 5 ★Facilities expansion we were promised with expanded village aren't happening. All activities resident led. Manager trying to dictate them. Other villages 'not Arvida' have paid facilitators. Since Arvida being sold (if Commerce Commission agrees) noticed considerable downgrading in amenities and big staff turnover which is unsettling for residents.

4 / 5 ★Generally satisfied with most aspects. Still vary in terms of quality of attitude and 'caring'. Some aspects of general maintenance, apart from that which is visible to visitors, are a little infrequent and are completed well after they are due for attention. I am fortunate to be able bodied enough to attend to this myself.
