Very pretty village
5 / 5 ★They need to realise we are all old, 84 average I believe, entry of 70 means we are all getting tired.
Grounds and Gardens Recently Redone
5 / 5 ★We would like the age limit to be 60 to encourage more activities. We recently had our grounds and gardens redone. This has made a big difference. Any troubles are done fairly quickly.
Independent Living
4 / 5 ★Over the years I have lived here I notice less and less consultation about things that directly affect residents. Management are not interested in feedback or complaints but just follow their 'plan'

4 / 5 ★Good social environment, generally run by volunteers from the residents. To keep this viable, incoming residents need to be fit and well, and under 80.

4 / 5 ★We have no care facility or any nursing service for our elderly residents (average age 81 yrs). Two new units under construction could have easily been a purpose built facility. At weekends we are all left to our own care and we rely on our neighbours should we need help.

3 / 5 ★They call it independent living but with entry now cranked up to 70 and even selling one to a 93year lady recently! Average age now about 83 but they insist independent living, say " Get carers or move out"

Management under control of directors and operator offsite and not familiar with everyday routines of village, which have changed in the 30 years the village has been operating. Operator still running village as then.
