3 / 5 ★Abingdon is an 14 unit "independent living" village, part of Enliven organisation. The units are all 1 bedroom. Socially the villagers are keen to being seen as separate to other Rest Homes/Complexes in the area.

Units could be insulated at next refurbishment<br />

1 / 5 ★Would like to see a genuine commitment to resident well being and a change in management culture that reflects today’s values and not those of yesteryear, so that residents are truly respected for who they are. There needs to be more honesty and transparency. We are consumers and our needs as elders should be central to the organisation. We should not continue to just be seen as a source of easy money even though in truth we are…
