4 / 5 ★It is important that this village does not get drawn into the competitive tendency of many of the corporate villages and lose its unique unpretentious but well serviced product.<br />
Recently, due to some decisions made by the board which did not align with this village, the board has granted permission for a residents representative to attend board meetings and give a residents perspective before decisions are made. I think this is a great advantage to those living here.
Comfortable Cottages, Pet Issues
4 / 5 ★THIS IS NOT A "LIFESTYLE" VILLAGE BUT AN EARLY VERSION OF COMFORTABLE, WELL MAINTAINED COTTAGES IN PARKLIKE SURROUNDINGS. THERE ARE A LOT OF PETS - SOMETIMES RATHER INTRUSIVE & PET PROTOCOLS "DEVISED" BY THE VILLAGE REPS [I FEEL], ARE NOT ENFORCED. OTHERWISE WE ARE WELL CATERED FOR.

4 / 5 ★An ongoing issue was the amount of pets permitted by management. The CEO was very keen to have animals around- there are 3 dogs in one cottage for example- but a number of residents don't share this enthusiasm. It took our resident committee over two years to get some control which was eventually alleviated by all residents getting a list of protocols such as keeping cats in overnight etc. All is calm again for the present.
