About to change ownership
3 / 5 ★This review relates to the present only, from mid 2022 onwards. As the village is about to change ownership and staff a future assessment WILL BE much more positive! Eastcliffe enjoys the best views/location in NZ!
Used to be good
3 / 5 ★Used to be good. Change of management. Rule books have now overridden common sense. Happy hour ruined by banning all alcohol at all times. No warmth now - it's all rules.
Out of tune management
3 / 5 ★We had a very happy village up to 2 years ago when we had a total change in management. The new management [edit] is totally out of tune with people of our age. No empathy, patience, care, at all.

3 / 5 ★I love living at Eastcliffe and its beautiful position with wonderful views etc. Unfortunately management is inept and totally unempathetic. Staff who question in their daily meetings have all been dismissed in a round about way. In the 3.5 years I have been here there are only 3 left of the originals.
