Staff are Amazing
5 / 5 ★We lived here nearly two years. My husband is in care just two years. Management is amazing, gets around village most days. Reception and activity team always easy to talk to. The care staff are amazing. It's a pleasure to live here. My parents lived here for years too.
Village atmosphere

My first choice
4 / 5 ★Highlands Village is still my first choice of any Auckland Village. Architecturally more like an English village set in acres of beautiful gardens, with walkways among the individual units, alongside the main building and serviced apartments and care home. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere among residents and staff providing the 'at home' feeling, not 'in an hotel'. Sadly Metlifecare have withdrawn many of the services from the Serviced Apartments which are now needing provision from outside

4 / 5 ★Remember we pay your wages one way or the other & deserve better consideration. If you are so hell bent on building new villages don't expect present residents to be penalized when you can't fill vacancies occurring in established villages. Cut the return of capital investment to 28 days.

4 / 5 ★Food for Serviced Apartments not consistent, very poor. Very few fresh veges and poor cold pudding. Expensive - Folks sign up for life for this!!

3 / 5 ★I moved to Highlands in Feb2020, so my first year impressions of my living and accomodation have been influenced by the several Covid19 lockdowns.Since the last village lockdown ,there has been an improvement in the social atmosphere but sadly not the dinners
