2 / 5 ★Im an independent living resident. My experience is based on 13 format complaints against Parkside management (previously Selwyn Heights) since 2021, 10 complaints requiring a lawyer. Resident Services and our reception staff are excellent. They are not included in my ratings.
It is a retirement village not a care home
2 / 5 ★Families should be made fully aware that the facilities & care in an independent living village are totally different to a care home. It is too late & quite unfair to an unaware new resident, the neighbors & staff once the purchase/placement has been activated for an obviously unsuitable tenant. Is has been sad to see this happen.

2 / 5 ★Management need to do a one on one interview of all residents to get a proper perspective on what they really think of the way things are run too many residents are too afraid to speak their minds.
