Two-bedroom duplex-style units are fully equipped to your needs and have the added benefits that are provided by a hospital/rest home that is regarded as one of the best in the country if you need them. The units come complete with a wheelchair-accessible shower, safety railings, non-slip floors and a 24-hour emergency button. Each centrally heated unit has 2 double bedrooms, a single internal entry garage and plenty of storage space.
Willson Gardens is close to all the amenities that the community has on offer, e.g. 2 golf courses, bowling greens, croquet, floral and art clubs, garden club, bridge club, Lions and a theatre society to name a few and a great selection of restaurants and cafes.

1 / 5 ★In the 8 years Ive lived here there has been 5 different General Managers with responsibility for Moana House, Care Home and Hops and Willson Gardens. Very little efficient management of W. Gardens. With no cap on fees, they have increased by over 50% to $700 per month for no amenities, facilities and a shortfall in services. One of the highest monthly fees in NZ. The operation is a Charitable Trust run by an inept board which has displayed appalling financial management. [In my opinion](eds.)

1 / 5 ★This is a non-fixed-fee Village. After a 50% fee increase last year to over $700 a month for NO facilities whatsoever, the voluntary Board which has demonstrated very poor financial management, has indicated the likelihood of continued annual fee increases. I would warn anyone against entering a non fixed fee Village.
