5 / 5 ★Have been here nearly 6 months. Knew no one here so decidedly nervous. Almost instantly was 'buddied', opportunities arose to form a close friendship, despite two knees needing replacement was able to volunteer to assist and feel useful to my new home. Of course there are always areas one would suggest improvements - management listens and responds - we can't all get our own way but understanding why helps.
Very Welcoming Village
5 / 5 ★My experience very limited but at a fragile time in my life, I have found the village to be very welcoming. However the uncertainty facing residents following changes in circumstances is concerning. This needs adjusting. Summerset seems better than most but government legislation needs to protect current and future residents. Summerset needs to ensure it stays ahead and even improves its post resident care. (eds.)
Very Good Location
5 / 5 ★Very good location beside the Hutt Golf Course and also 300 metres away from Hutt Hospital and public transport on High Street. The facilities building will be opened on the 1st of July which we anticipate will be fantastic.
