I love village life here that refreshes and relaxes me
5 / 5 ★I love village life here that refreshes and relaxes me each and every day. I have built up a circle of friends and acquaintances through joining the village choir and lawn bowls, and also a foursome for card playing each Friday afternoon. I use the village gym each day, and swim in the pool twice a week, and attend happy hour at least once-a-week - to contribute to and support the wonderful friendly atmosphere.

A well run & enjoyable village
4 / 5 ★A well run & enjoyable village. Have met a lot of friendly similarly placed people. Village 'Size' is just right so that one knows a lot of people. Car wash availability would be very good! Wife/partner has Alzheimers and entry to care facilities will be appreciated in due course.

4 / 5 ★I have noticed drop in shows & enjoyable entertainment, also increase in costs large & small. Not as it used to be in my earlier years. However I am happy, now 91 years old, been here since 80 yrs old. I liked our earlier Managers better. Driver being put off was very bad news.

4 / 5 ★Hospital & office staff very good in every way. Maintenance team very obliging & quick with service. Very pleased I made decision to come to B.McL. Village.
Gardens are nice
3 / 5 ★1. Look after good staff which village continues to lose. 2. Show more initiative in trips. 3. Stop regulars hogging all bus seats. 4. Cuts in services and price increases endemic across the board. 5. Hire a second driver. 6. Gardens are nice - cafe coming.

Could be a lot better
2 / 5 ★Improve the very poor quality of meals served in dining room. Open a cafe. This is the only village that doesn't have a cafe in this area. Other villages welcome outside guests.
